System doesn't seem to recognize thumbdrive as a boot option

I installed ubuntu a month ago, and I came to the conclusion it just wasn’t for me. I downloaded the manjaro iso, and used balena etcher to write it to the thumbdrive. When I powered off my PC and went to the boot options, it didn’t show my thumbdrive. I turned off secure boot to see if that had anything to do with it, which it didn’t. Any help?

I doubt it. If Secure boot is enabled you cannot boot the Manjaro ISO.

Welcome to the forum! Yes, you do. You should leave it disabled. There is a way to get Manjaro to work with Secure Boot, but it is not officially supported. And truth be told, Secure Boot isn’t all that secure either.
