Switching from hybrid to Nvidia got stuck at start screen

Hello all.

I was just switching from hybrid to Nvidia driver. I noticed that the log-out process took longer time than usual (maybe 30 - 60 sec), which is usually instant.
I managed to log in, but the start screen after got stuck at half the way through loading. I managed to TTY into another session and start startx.

Now flipping back to TTY1 results in going into my default DE, but the launcher is missing, and the SUPER key does not initiate launcher or do anything. I think I am able to start terminal there (didn’t check).
I am however able to use TTY2, but the scaling is weird (like it is 150% instead of 100%), and that is the lowest the scaling will go.
I am also noticing heavy usage of:

/usr/bin/kscreenlocker_greet --graceTime 5000 -- ksldfd 23

this process is using 100% of one core.

I am not able to use SUPER+TAB (I have reconfigured the command from Alt+TAB) to cycle through open programs.

NOTE: This might be a ONE-OFF, meaning rebooting will solve everything, but if there is any bug or something that needs to be addressed, I am happy to provide all the info needed.

Here are few outputs from terminal which I think could be relevant. I am sure you will correct me if I chose wrong.

Not sure what you mean by switching from hybrid to nvidia drivers. If you have both intergrated and dedicated graphics card on laptop then you need to use the nvidia prime drivers or the open source drivers. If you are using the nvidia prime drivers then you use the prime-run command to launch applications on the dedicated gpu

I was using optimus-manager.

However, I figured out why the behavior was like that. Apparently changing the cycle through open programs from Alt+TAB to SUPER+TAB fucks up something. After making Alt+TAB the default again, there is no problem.

Sorry for making a thread about such a thing.
