in dwm there is an automatic window resize that fit the mpv autocrop so is possible to decide the horizontal size and then verticall size is automatically changed, so the next window do not grab automatically half screen (vertical), but is resized according with mpv autocrop. Is it possible to make same thing with sway?
Never tried mpv autocrop because I am used to the way video players normally present the video’s but you might try this in ~/.config/mpv/config.
This opens the window 90% horizontally of your screen.
autofit-smaller=90%
autofit-larger=90%
$mod + R resize horizontally, when mpv is playng, but every time after $mod+v for example i add a terminal window, mpv is changed to half (vertical) screen, i would like to keep mpv bigger or smaller according with mpv autocrop dynamically like in dwm.
