Swap not detected, fstab?

Hi all

I installed Manjaro 21.1.4 yesterday on a three partition HD:

  • 500 Mo to swap
  • 60 Go for /
  • 160 Go for /home

I surely badly have made the partition process choice during the installation because the swap is not detected, but physically is on the HD, prepared with GParted before
I tried a #swapon as root but nothing happens of course because there is no swap in my /etc/fstab

[bozzoh@bozzoh ~]$ cat /etc/fstab
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
# Use 'blkid' to print the universally unique identifier for a device; this may
# be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices that works even if
# disks are added and removed. See fstab(5).
# <file system>             <mount point>  <type>  <options>  <dump>  <pass>
UUID=aacdfc19-57f9-45e8-ad02-8f5c1076126f /              ext4    defaults,noatime 0 1
UUID=27f6a858-cd1b-450a-a0aa-182dbaed9944 /home          ext4    defaults,noatime 0 2
tmpfs                                     /tmp           tmpfs   defaults,noatime,mode=1777 0 0

How can i edit fstab to mount the swap?

The swap partition should be detected automatically on a GPT partition table. Otherwise, you do need to declare it in fstab.

What filesystem did you use?
lsblk -f

Thank you very much maycne.sonahoz! :smiley:

Read your link and applied the tuto, i’ve rebooted to be sure and it works!

[bozzoh@bozzoh ~]$ lsblk -f
