Steam small fonts after update

Hi community

I just updated 02.11.2022 and steam now have small fonts is there any way to scale them up again, i have enlarge font enabled on steam, I’m running on wayland KDE on kernel 6.0.6-1 still little newbie so if you need more info let me know.

I had a similar though opposite issue yesterday, in that the interface was scaled up instead of down.
Disabling “Enlarge text and icons based on monitor size” in Steam’s Interface settings did the trick.

Any chance you’re both using the steam-beta update channel? For me the “broken” scaling only happens on the beta, see also here. Workarounds like GDK_SCALE=2 steam don’t seem to work any more on the beta version.

Well, yes, since it was the only way to play non-verified games at that time. I admit i haven’t checked if it is still necessary nowadays…
