Why is Proton installed on your external drive mounted in /run/media/?
Either way, Proton is crashing because it can’t create a new directory and extract files to your external drive. What filesystem is it formatted with? Don’t tell me it’s NTFS…
Due to your comment I created an ext4 partition and put the game there and now it works. But yes, it was an NFTS partition.
Man, thank you so much for your help, I hadn’t even considered this possibility
My other games were on SSD, so I didn’t think the problem could actually be with the disk format used on HD
