Can't access my profile from GUI

Hi, a noob here!
Recently after an update that I had to interrupt I’m not able to access my account via gui, after writing my password down it just won’t access, by accessing via tty3 I was able to access
I’ve tried startx but seems not helpful, moreover the GUI to access my account isn’t my usual one.
I also tried to do an upgrade but gave me the error unrecognized archive format.

but if I try to ping it says host unreachable, so provably it’s just a metter of connection, I don’t really undestand why the commad nmcli device wifi connect <SSID> password <password> isn’t working by not accepting the password and keeps gives me the error Error: Connection activation failed: (7) Secrets were required, but not provided.

I manage to resolve the problem I had before by rebooting and connecting before opening the shell, so could finish all the steps but nothing changed, still looked out at the GUI and can access just by CLI

For future reference to usage in cli to connect to wifi.
nmcli radio wifi on && sleep 2 && nmcli connection up NAME_OF_WIFI --ask

• turns on wifi
• sleeps 2 seconds so it has time to establish things
• connects to NAME_OF_WIFI
• asks for password

You can also obv divide up the commands to 2 separate and then not need the sleep.

The problem might be the dns:servers configured in manjaro.
If you are using Firefox, that might work by itself since by default firefox is set to use DoH with it’s own dns servers.

Hey guys, thank you all for the support I really appreciated it.
I understood it was a problem caused by some library from KDE (maybe caused the interruption?) .
I really needed my PC back so I decided to use the solution proposed by @Aragorn and from the live partition installing a new Desktop environment (GNOME) and try to reboot, I still have some problem to deal with because the unlocking page is different and it keeps me asking about a token ring but they are not really pertinent with this thread anymore!
