Pamac won’t show any updates.

Refreshing mirrors don’t help either.

What about pamac update?

:frowning:

It should solve the locked db problem :

sudo rm /var/lib/pacman/db.lck

It’s all there.
Search the forum for this pamac problem, there are some threads about it.
In the meantime, you can use pacman to update:

$ sudo pacman -Syu

This file doesnt exist at this location.

If there is no lock file in pacman folder, try this command to delete lock file in pamac folder

sudo rm /var/tmp/pamac/dbs/db.lck

and try using pamac options to update only repository packages and force database refresh

pamac update --no-aur --force-refresh

Or use pacman with force refresh of databases

sudo pacman -Syyu
2 Likes

Thanks, this works.
