I appreciated reading the comments first before updating, as it cued me in to first change from running the 6.14 kernel to 6.12 LTS, run Timeshift, then run the update. I had no issues that I’m aware of, and the update automatically put me on running 6.15 after the reboot. Thank you for everyones input here.
That being said I’m likely to be leaving running Manjaro Linux in the near future due to not be able to handle very well any more, the burden of user intervention in updates like this. It has been a great learning experience for me, but I need to go back to a Linux distribution that updates with little to no user intervention.
