Today’s latest Manjaro Stable Update 2023-10-04 pulls in ArchLinux’s qemu version 8.1.1-1 package series.
There is an upstream regression qemu-project/qemu#1913, for which the packager has released 8.1.1-2 in the interim. That patched package reverts commit aec338d6 which appears to have introduced the problem.
Has anyone updated their system to qemu packages to 8.1.1-1 yet and encountered this segfault bug?
I’m currently weighing the risks of taking the update vs. waiting for 8.1.1-2 or 8.1.2-*.
