wget http://mirror.easyname.at/manjaro/pool/overlay/pacman-mirrors-4.19.5-2-any.pkg.tar.zst && sudo pacman -U pacman-mirrors-4.19.5-2-any.pkg.tar.zst

Hello @philm,

but there was no solution.

I did
gpg --recv-keys 24E4CDB0013C2580

The output was

but after a sudo pacman -Syu there was the same error:

Hello @philm,

that was the solution. Now the update works without errors.

Thank you very much for your fast support @philm.

I tried the solutions in the previous answers but its still not working. I get the following error:

Fehler: kpty: Signatur von "Antonio Rojas <arojas@archlinux.org>" ist ungültig

Thank you for the stable update
Since last update linux59-rt-nvidia hasn’t been updated to 460.56 (from 460.39) which makes it impossible to update the other nvidia packages (lib32-nvidia-utils, nvidia-utils and mhwd-nvidia).
Other than that, everything is amazing, as always!

Hi, several issues on Xfce

  • xfce4-systemload-plugin was rest to factory settings (minor issue - settled)
  • pulseeffects ko (was bumpy but running on pipewire before)
  • pavucontrol reacts when it wants (but sound lasts 10 seconds & ko)
  • xfce4-volumed-pulse is now dead (was functional before update)

Hi,
After this update, I cannot restart my machine.
~ >>> systemctl reboot
Failed to reboot system via logind: There’s already a shutdown or sleep operation in progress
~ >>> systemctl list-jobs [1]
Failed to list jobs: Connexion terminée par expiration du délai d’attente
~ >>> systemctl --force reboot [1]
Failed to execute operation: Access denied
~ >>> sudo systemctl --force reboot
Failed to execute operation: Connexion terminée par expiration du délai d’attente
It is possible to perform action directly, see discussion of --force --force in man:systemctl(1).
~ >>> sudo systemctl --force --force reboot [1]

Is hanging.

Any ideas ?

Thank you.

EDIT: I tried switching tty, which only gave me plain black screens on all but tty2. Then I tried to unplug the dock and open the laptop. Only black screens. Plugging the dock back, the display comes back on external screen but the system was completely unresponsive then. I ended up powering the machine off, start again and it seems fine.

Hey all. Update went smooth. On reboot, I get an error at login:

The current theme cannot be loaded due to errors below, please select another theme.

It says something about the plug-in cannot be loaded for module org.kde.plasma.core. I tty and edit the sddm.conf file adding the line to Theme section:
Current=breeze

The line wasn’t there, but Nordic is the theme I was using that wouldn’t boot, so I figured I’d try the default breeze. No joy. Same error. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

That’s probably all that was needed after a big stable update.

Strange, kernel 5.10.23-1-MANJARO is still not marked as LTS

Thanks for the reply Ben. Didn’t work though. Although no error is shown, I get the same login screen and on inputting my password, it locks up.

Hello all, if this may help someone else. After the 03-08-2021 update (and upgrade to kernel 5.11?) I noticed that the Fn keys of my Dell laptop (Intel GPU) no longer controlled the screen brightness. Since my issue was not fixed with today’s update I figured the issue was something local  .

After much research and playing around with suggestions on the Arch wiki for Backlight, I added acpi_backlight=native to grub and restarted, and now my Fn backlight keys are working again.

Huge thanks to the Manjaro team for making this great distro!

EDIT (more info): During my investigation, I ran ls /sys/class/backlight/ and it listed both acpi_video0 and intel_backlight as the output. After I added acpi_backlight=native as a kernel parameter and rebooted, only intel_backlight is now output, so my laptop developed a driver issue that I was able to correct by editing grub. In addition to my Fn brightness keys working again, now the screen brightness also dims after a period of time of not touching the keyboard just like before!

EDIT 2: In order to have my computer running KDE to start up at the brightness level I desire, I also had to go into System Settings>Power Management>Power Saving>On Battery>Screen brightness and set the slider to 20%. Click Apply.
