What is your panel row size? Mine is on 22 pixels and just one row. This is how it looks like:
36x36 px edit: I meant just 36 px - and 1 row , but doesnāt matter: also If I reduce its size, such icon remains big.
This is a bug, because on Xfce 4.14 such behaviour didnāt occurred.
EDIT :
What I meant to say:
All icons in the panel are properly and consistently sized, except for the power manager icon that display the huge/big battery icon:
I repeat it ad amara finem : playing with the settings of panel and with the settings of Status Tray Plugin", for me has no effects:
I had already reported these attempts some message above; some other users suggested to play with such settings, which have no affects for me as I reported
Also other users, in this discussion, in this forum and also on Reddit, have reported the same issue. Is clearly a bug/regression which occurs in some circumstances.
Linux 54, Nvidia card and KDE: update went without problems: thanks to Manjaro Teams
My PCM2902 USB soundcard isnāt detected correctly in pulseaudio.
It used to have an analog and digital āendpointā for both the input and output. Now, only the analog output is available.
oh, no, sorry, forgot to mention that. I have an AMD, but thanks for asking!
After the upgrade kmail
does not start anymore. The MariaDB service starts normally after I deleted these two files:
sudo rm /var/lib/mysql/ib_logfile0
sudo rm /var/lib/mysql/ib_logfile1
The crash dump does not say much:

Hopefully someone has an idea how to solve this.
No issues, all weht fine on two machines. Both with XFCE.
qt4
was dropped from the repos, itās deprecated. You probably donāt need it. You can check what needs it (if anything) with:
pacman -Qi qt4 | grep "Required By"
Iām using Hack 10 font in my gnome terminal and before update it was displaying all bold text, but now only display regular variant, anyway to fix it?
EDIT:
Just switched to Alacritty, all good nowā¦
The command has only worked for me by removing Required By, and this is what I get back:

It seems to be required by libdbusmenu-qt4, which if I run the same command, it says it is required by sni-qt.

What would be the next step, what should I uninstall?
Well, since your language is Spanish, looks like the command would be:
pacman -Qi qt4 | grep "Exigido por"
It appears sni-qt
is the culprit and is an orphan, so you can remove it and itās dependencies recursively:
sudo pacman -Rs sni-qt
Tip: When pasting terminal output, highlight the text first, then use the Preformatted text </> button. Iāve done it for you this time.
Thank you, I just did what you said. The problem seems to be solved. Sorry about the text, next time Iāll get it right!
Iāve updated a few days ago and now I get this error:
$ sudo pacman -Syyu

The same with $ sudo pacman -Syyuu
Nvm, Iāve edited the mirrorlist with $ sudo pacman-mirrors -c all
and all is good.
Phil, can you take a look to vte?
Terminal Emulator - "Select All" not working correctly after latest update - #2 by D.Dave
(sorry: I should have reply/ask here)
Shouldnāt this always work?
LANG=C pacman -Qi qt4 | grep "Required By"
Thanks, I removed it and restarted and everything work fine
Yes, indeed. However, I didnāt know the user had a different default system language until after the fact.
My update on my Intel Nuc 10i7FNH was not so well. After reboot my Gnome terminal was not working anymore and the local language was gone, so I had partly english and partly dutch and all looked strange. Wine-staging didnt run also because of that. So in Manjaro settings I could add the dutch language (no language was visible there at all) and after installing that and a few reboots somehow all the language translation is Dutch again thank God. Terminal works now and Wine also. So strange things happen in updatesā¦ BTW, I first tried using the XFCE terminal to at least do something, but that didnt fix the problem. I really had to install completely a new language in the Manjaro settings before everything worked.
I have screen tearing on the desktop since the updateā¦ (nvidia driver 460, kernel 5.4, KDE) Any idea?
Even with the last update of Pulseaudio the problem of Pulseaudio still persists, forcing me to use Pavucontrol to select the sound output every time I turn on the PC
