vagrant doesn’t run
Exec error: fork/exec /opt/vagrant/embedded/bin/ruby: no such file or directory.
As Manjaro is Arch-based,
vagrant expects to find a file
/etc/arch-release. This isn’t present on Manjaro (and is blank on Arch). To temporarily work around the issue,
sudo touch /etc/arch-release
sudo ln -s /etc/manjaro-release /etc/arch-release
and follow the #manjaro-development thread for updates here: Vagrant doesn't run on Manjaro because of missing /etc/arch-release file . Keep in mind this might have unforeseen effects and you may have to manually undo the change later.

If you have set any custom theme or “user chrome” it’s probably not compatible. Go into your Firefox profile directory and move or remove any symbolic links to custom user chrome, e.g.:

My Firefox extensions disappeared or stopped working with 57
“That’s a feature, not a bug.” Firefox 57 has removed the ability to use XUL-based (“legacy”) extensions; only extensions that use the new WebExtensions API will work: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-add-technology-modernizing
If you need older extensions you can:
- Try Firefox ESR (in the AUR or direct from Mozilla);
- Try Waterfox;
- Try Palemoon;
- Try a Developer or Nightly branch of Firefox and set

MTP issues with Android phones and KDE 4.14
We have three reports of Android phones that are no longer accessible through Dolphin/Plasma when connected to the Computer with the MTP protocol. KDE Bugzilla entry is https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387454
Present workaround is to use a non-KDE filemanager or the package Android File Transfer (MTP).
