A question about hooks

I was reading 'Mysterious Supervisor and saw this

Given your description, I might guess its a hook. To see current hooks:

ls /usr/share/libalpm/hooks/

So I have a question about Hooks, given that

ls /usr/share/libalpm/hooks/

reveals the following…

thunderbird-post.hook
thunderbird-pre.hook

As I don’t use Thunderbird, and installed from the Minimal KDE install Why would those hooks be there.

… and I may be answering my own question. Unless I removed Thunderbied after Installation

But I’ve added and removed many other apps, and their Hooks don’t seem to appear there.

Those belong to manjaro-browser-settings. You can remove the package if you wish.

❯ pacman -F thunderbird-post.hook thunderbird-pre.hook
extra/manjaro-browser-settings 20231111-1
    usr/share/libalpm/hooks/thunderbird-post.hook
extra/manjaro-browser-settings 20231111-1
    usr/share/libalpm/hooks/thunderbird-pre.hook

In the case it is on their system…

pacman -Qo /usr/share/libalpm/hooks/thunderbird-post.hook
