ssh and other automatically started services?

Hello,

I have noticed that openssh is started automatically.
Is this the recommended way to disable the ssh server?: "sudo systemctl disable sshd".
Or is it better to remove the package if I don't need it?

Due to security-related concerns, I would like to ask you if there are other automatically started services that differ from the standard x86 Manjaro?

Best regards
Floh

Yeah. Just disable it if you don't need it.

On Manjaro ARM we basically only auto start:

  • sshd
  • NetworkManager (depending on edition)
  • Display Manager (depending on release)
  • dhcpcd
  • Bootsplash services (in newest release)
  • haveged
  • getty
  • bluetooth (depending on edition)
  • tlp (depending on edition)
