I was expecting to suggest you ask for this patch on Bugzilla, but Simeon Simeonoff had the patch sorted out 26 days ago

and kudos to Takashi Iwai for getting it signed off quick, and Connor McAdams for the original patch
If you now have the vast amount of ALSA controls that is typical for a good Creative card
you might want to consider installing qastools to have a better GUI than alsamixer
