I had this problem with a previous kernel, switched back to a lower one, waited for the next kernel to come and the sound worked. I now have the same problem with 5.13 and would like to know why and rectify the problem.

P.S. The sound works in 5.13 and the previous kernel, but does not always. A restart of the system usually solves the problem.

Then file a bug
upstream or keep using 5.10 LTS instead of using the latest (but not always greatest) stable kernels… (which is what I do)
