Horizontal Flipping of the Camera

So I’m trying to use the webcam on a Framework laptop. I tried to use V4l2-utils and ffmpeg to create a virtual camera using the command

ffmpeg -f v4l2 -i /dev/video0 -vf "hflip,format=yuv420p" -f v4l2 /dev/video2

but the framerate is about 5 fps. I tried to look at flipping the camera at the driver using v4l2-ctl but the driver does not seem to support flipping the camera.

Output of v4l2-ctl -L:
