Double libpamac and pamac-cli

I may be wrong, but to me the packages libpamac and pamac-cli seem to exist twice with the exact same name.

This may confuse users, and / or programs

For example:

  • I couldn’t uninstall the AUR version of “libpamac” without uninstalling the extra version
  • And reinstalling the extra version did show the AUR version as installed as well, but I doubt that’s really true.
    :footprints:

You only have one version installed, but it appears as if you have both of them installed because the package exists in the AUR and in the repository at the same time. It’s a bug.

Yes, and in addition the versions are different. The version numbers differ between extra and aur (at least for libpamac).

I don’t think that was desired

I do think at the moment this may be a “cosmetic” problem. But this can change at some time :innocent:

I think the bug getting confused with same name but different versions is still given. We have to see.
