[SOLVED][i3] dunst notifications icons broken

#1

Icons (Volume UP, DOWN, battery icon) work fine on live USB, but after installation and full update in pamac they are not shown.

Dunst config for icon looks like this

    # Paths to default icons.
    icon_path = /usr/share/icons/Adwaita/16x16/status/:/usr/share/icons/Adwaita/16x16/devices/

I tried to fix it, by changing the path, but it doesn't work. I can't find which file/script send this notifications to dunst.

#2

$ man dunst

 icon_path (default: "/usr/share/icons/gnome/16x16/status/:/usr/share/icons/gnome/16x16/devices/")
           Can be set to a colon-separated list of paths to search for icons to use with notifications.

Ups, dunst config is dunstrc :smiley: sorry

Maybe in dunstrc

/usr/bin/dunst
/usr/bin/dunstify
/usr/lib/systemd/user/dunst.service
/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.knopwob.dunst.service
/usr/share/dunst/dunstrc
/usr/share/licenses/dunst/LICENSE
/usr/share/man/man1/dunst.1.gz

  # Paths to default icons.
    icon_path = /usr/share/icons/gnome/16x16/status/:/usr/share/icons/gnome/16x16/devices/

Try reinstall :slight_smile:

Thank you.

I fixed the icons, now they are Papirus-Dark, and fixed another problem with showing huge icons of other app notificiation. max_width was set to 0, and dunst was ignoring the max_icon_size.

Here is the config if someone needs it.
