Would it be possible to not enable things like the gnome-desktop style for Firefox if it’s already disabled? And also the Gnome extensions. Every once a while extensions are disabled after an update. At some point it becomes irritating having your settings repeatedly changed by an update.
None of what you mention should happen with normal updates and has never happened to me.
Then it must be something else. I just updated my system and I will report back if I notice any settings changed.
I rebooted my system and I didn’t notice settings changed. I will report back after the next update.
It happened again after I updated to 21.2.4.
I have two users on this machine. It seems that the user where I was logged in while doing the update wasn’t affected.
Gnome Extensions were turned off for the other user.
