So, where is this file in Linux?

at 3:97 he says where the file is.

The file name is GameUserSettings.ini

If that file exists, then somewhere where your game is installed.
I’m not a gamer.
I know there is Steam and Proton and wine … but that is all.

Why don’t you just recursively search for that file?
Let the machine do the work for you.
It’s probably somewhere in your HOME directory.

the time reference of 3:97 is funny
3 minutes and 97 seconds
is 4 minutes and 37 seconds … → 4:37

Also: you can right click in the video and select “copy video URL at current time”
and then give that link.

3 minutes and 97 seconds - that’s amazing and possibly a huge issue with your problem.

Also, this is in Windows - if you installed this via some Linux container or whatever, then you have to find the paths for your install method.

Start browsing Steam or Bottles or whatever you used to install.

Sorry, meant 07, didn’t see it before the reply.

If it is a Steam install, the Proton prefixes are in ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/ so look there and look in the folder with the AppID of your game, else, look in the Wine/Proton prefix used for the game.
