Shutter Doesn't Launch

I just did a fresh install on one my computers. I installed “shutter”, but I can’t make it to launch the program. I get this when I try to launch it in Konslole.

(shutter:2766): Wnck-WARNING **: 22:32:19.705: libwnck is designed to work in X11 only, no valid display found
zsh: segmentation fault (core dumped) shutter

Shutter may or may not be in a development stall.

Besides that … the error seems straight forward.

If you are married to shutter … then use an Xorg session (not wayland).

How do I use or switch to an Xorg session?

Logout, and you’ll see in one of the corners selection box that says “Plasma (Wayland)”. Click on it, select “Plasma (X11)”, then login.

Easy enough. Now everything works the way it should. Thanks for the tip! :slightly_smiling_face:
