Should I use sudo or sudo-rs?

Personally I would use sudo. Why would I type 3 extra characters when the shorter command works just fine.

This is why abbreviations and alias exist… the point being not a competition, but a parallel project to improve security over the C-based sudo in collaboration with the maintainer of sudo to eventually reduce long-term maintenance risks and resilience using rust.

The transition will be seamless, and the main difference for many right now will be the slightly different error/warning messages.

When the transition occurs, and -rs is dropped, I won’t notice. In the mean time I don’t see the point of going to the trouble of creating a alias, or typing the extra characters.

One of the things I disliked about ?buntu (as one example) is that one couldn’t take two steps without tripping over an alias.
