Basically after some update last month I noticed that I cannot use Ctrl+Alt+T to open konsole anymore. I then realized that almost all shortcuts which I added in settings myself don’t work. However, some do. I can still open calculator by pressing it’s button, Alt+F1 opens Kickoff, most desktop effect shortcuts seem to work. Updates don’t fix it, and I don’t know what to do so any help is very appreciated.
Some info about my system:
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.107.0
Qt Version: 5.15.10
Kernel Version: 6.4.0-0-MANJARO (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
So I don’t know how to help. I would check permissions of these files, search kde bugs, or maybe check if removing
/home/user/.cache/systemsettings/
would help (but copy it somewhere first for backup purpose). If you are on wayland I would also check if login to x11 would make a difference. Also check keyboard layout.
Try looking at the logs, both journalctl and ~/.xsession-errors and if it does report anything when you do a shortcut (that fails). Usually there is a trace of it somewhere.
