I’m using Manjaro XFCE. Is there a way to set menubar font in Signal and Brave. Both show oversized monospace font in menubars and menus (and for url in Brave, the fonts for displaying webpages are fine).

In Brave the fonts used to be fine. I believe Signal messenger uses the Electron framework and Brave used to. (edited)
Fonts in other apps including Chromium, Inkscape, mtPaint, Blender, PCManFM, LibreOffice and xfce4-terminal are fine.
Those fonts are set by the applications themselves. Therefore, you’ll have to check the in-app settings pages.
Oh boy, then I guess they’re about to get sued by The Orange One™. 
Opps, I meant the Electron framework. There doesn’t appear to be any option for setting the menubar font in the application settings.
Nothing referencing an interface theme?
I will have to double check Brave later. In Signal at can set the theme to dark or light. I can also hide the the menu bar, so I suppose the is that.
brave-browser is chromium-based on account of its rendering engine, but it’s not electron-based.
From what I can tell, signal-desktop doesn’t appear to use electron either, but if it does, then it may come packaged with its own electron version — some electron-based applications do that — and then there’s little one can do until the developers of the software update their electron base.
It does, indeed. It’s one of the few packages that Arch doesn’t build using the system Electron.
