Separating two pages when scanning

Hello, I want to scan with xsane a booklet from a copy on sheets. There are two pages of the book on each sheet. How can I eaili and autimatically scan so that only one page is done?

If you select the desired scan area (preview mode) in xsane you can use the same selection area for subsequent scans. Then do the same for the other half by moving the selected area accordingly.

Sorry about the delay. Here’s what I meant re. scanning (I had to fix the driver as my custom file got overwritten for some reason, resulting in double-width and half-page scans):

Batch scan seems to do what the OP wants?

I’ve marked the below answer as the solution to your question as it is by far the best answer you’ll get.

However, if you disagree with my choice, please feel free to take any other answer as the solution to your question or even remove the solution altogether: You are in control! (I just want to avoid even more subjective opinions being posted and confusing you even more)

:innocent:
P.S. In the future, please mark a solution like this:

so that the next person that has the exact same problem you just had will benefit from your post as well as your question will now be in the “solved” status.
