[Security Update] 2019-02-01 - Chromium 72

I have built and pushed Chromium 72.0.3626.81 to the following branches:

  • stable
  • testing
  • unstable

  • x32-stable
  • x32-testing
  • x32-unstable

As is always the case for a short-turnaround update, this package has had only minimal testing.

unstable already has Chromium 72. 32-bit packages will be coming shortly.

I thought Chrome would stop supporting 32-bit a while ago?

Chrome is not Chromium.

Ah, true.
I just assumed it, since Chrome is based on Chromium.

If I have Chromium 71.0.3578.98, why does pacman say that there are no available updates? I have run

sudo pacman -Syyu
#6

I’d assume it’s exactly the same reason as before:

Oh, unless you’re running manjaro32, in which case it’s because the package has been building for the past five hours and it’s done yet.

Thanks, I had to run

sudo pacman-mirrors -f3

too.
