Second screen not being detected Intel UHD620

Hey, my laptop sundenly stopped working with my external monitor can someone help. I’ve tried using an older kernal which did nothing. I don’t know what else to try. My UHD620 does support dual display it just stopped working now. I can provide console outputs of stuff but I don’t know what to provide.

Please see How to provide good information.

Have you tried something newer already? 5.10 is LTS nowadays as well…

If that doesn’t help, have you tried the 5.4.102_rt53_1 (Real-Time) kernel yet?

Hello @rodude123

That s really strange… According to your outputs of xrandr and inxi there is only eDP1 available to connect. So one connection, not two. VIRTUAL1 is not a real connection.

How do you connect to the second screen?

I connect via HDMI. The issue was fixed by reinstalling the graphics driver. I don’t know what went wrong
