Screen rotation and size

Just got a new pin phone software version . 3.34.0
The screen dose not rotate with orientation . It will not resize to see all the window.

Is there a setting for this?

Hello,

From what i gathered, plasma mobile requires more polish, and probably something for your issue will be released with a future update.

are you sure you are using plasma?

not sure about plasma on the phone
settings say
graphics unknown
disk capacity unknown
os MajorArm
gnome version 3.38.1
windowing Wayland think this is plasma.

plasma is kde based … and the default on pinephone manjaro is phosh … but it seems they made a image with plasma …

for the case you are on phosh this command should help:
gsettings set sm.puri.phoc scale-to-fit true

This command literally changed the phone into my daily driver. It just wasn’t usable until I did this. Thanks!

Now if I could get the clipboard to work… I’d be in heaven. lol

That configuration command is not intuitive, where did or how did you or does one search for such solutions?

Also thanks cause this changes everything.

I think i found this solution in the forum of pine64. I was wondering why it is not activated by default and the reason is i think that sometimes things get very small.

so i think this is the recommended solution:

I think the telegram/matrix/discord groups of the different os for pinephone are also sometimes helpful.
