Screen resolution an Thinkpad Laptop

Hello,

I seem to have a very weird problem after rebooting my screen resolution from my built in laptop display doesnt go higher then 960x540 out of the blue… this makes no sense… any ideas why this is happening?

thanks for your replay… I am in the process of downgrading my Kernel. If this doesn’t fix somehow the resolution problem i will try it.
