I’ve had an issue for well over a year on one of my systems. If it gets left long enough to go into blank screen, when you wake it up with the mouse, it will bring up the desktop and mouse cursor, but if you do something like click a tab on FF, it won’t show any changes on the screen. If you hit Ctrl-Alt-F2 to get tty2 then go back to tty1, it now updates the screen to reflect what you might have clicked, and then everything goes on like normal until you leave it long enough to screen blank again.
