Screen freezes when changing brightness on Manjaro Gnome - Intel i915 driver

Hey guys, everything is working fine, even volume slider, but when I press Fn + Left or Right to change brightness, screen freezes for 1 or 2 seconds, then it works as it should, it freezes to make the volume slider appear, I need help fixing it…

:+1: Welcome to Manjaro! :+1:

Please read this:

and post some more information so we can see what’s really going on. Now we know the symptom of the disease, but we need some more probing to know where the origin lies…

An inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host would be the minimum required information… (Personally Identifiable Information like serial numbers and MAC addresses will be filtered out by the above command)

:innocent:

You have an Intel driver which I’m not very familiar with (I’m on pure nVidia)

but for the next person that comes around please prepare the output to:

mhwd --listinstalled

(I’ve also edited your title to attract more knowledgeable people than me)
