Mine does this currently, every so often; most likely caused by the poor quality cable I’m using. It’s on my New Year’s list of replacements.
(And, you;re right, it’s annoying).
So, your issue could be the same, or it might be something else entirely. I’m sure other Members will have a suggestion or three.
