I had the “Automatic Power Saver” enabled which enables power saver when battery is low. That explains why the screen was blanking after only 30 seconds.
I did not think about that because the battery was full. The actual issue is that my computer measures an incorrect battery level after waking up from sleep, even when plugged-in. The temporary fix is to restart the computer.
