I have a new Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB.
I have made a speed test with hdparm.

The result is low - in my opinion.

Timinig cached reads: 12.410.71 MB/s
Timinig buffered disk reads: 396.50 MB/s

For reference,I use a 970 EVO 1TB that is now 14 months old and get these figures:

sudo hdparm -tT /dev/nvme0n1                                                           

/dev/nvme0n1:
 Timing cached reads:   25048 MB in  2.00 seconds = 12542.56 MB/sec
 Timing buffered disk reads: 7636 MB in  3.00 seconds = 2545.13 MB/sec

I had to choose a different PICe slot.

Now the speed is:

Timinig cached reads: 12.410.71 MB/s
Timinig buffered disk reads: 2756.53 MB/s
