Hi, I’m new on Manjaro. I have installed a new fresh Manjaro system (22.0.4). All works fine. Then I want to have the nvidia driver for better performace.
So I used the command
sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300
Everything installs without any errors, but after that there no graphical login screen.
I use a Desktop PC. And a GeForce GTX 1070.
Can someone please help me, I just can’t seem to make any progress.

Please make sure you have Secure-Boot disabled in your UEFI-BIOS, Manjaro doesn’t support it out-of-the-box and thus the drivers fail to load…

Most likely, you use one of the recent Intel CPUs and a security feature called “Indirect Branch Tracking” is enabled there, which prevents the nvidia module to be loaded, because NVIDIA’s proprietary module is not yet compatible.
Search the forum for ibt=off.
