RevontuliNight Theme (KDE)?

The website in the browser thedownload & install buttons seem to just display the file size, I can’t find it in the ksetting, color, get theme.

Hi Nick, it will make things much easier if you can edit your post and elaborate on the issue, thanks; it’s hard to interpret in its current form. Then it may be relisted.

All the best.

Sorry, that was odd the text is visable now. Not sure why it was like that.

It was hidden because someone flagged it (not me). It’s visible now because you edited the title (but, unfortunately, not the actual post).

Is this what you are trying to install? Revontuli for KDE Plasma Colorscheme - pling.com

The various Revontuli Plasma color schemes can be found here: Revontuli/Plasma Colorscheme at main - akselmo/Revontuli - Codeberg.org

To install RevontuliNight color scheme, download & save the raw color scheme file: https://codeberg.org/akselmo/Revontuli/raw/branch/main/Plasma%20Colorscheme/RevontuliNight.colors

Then open System Settings → Colors & Themes → Colors and select “Install from File” at the top of the window. Navigate to the RevontuliNight.colors file that you just saved, select & open it, and it should install without any issues (as I just did on my system):

To find a specific theme and all it’s components, you do better to search the KDE Store…

However, through the GUI, you can go:

  • Global Themes>Get New… it doesn’t exist.
  • If you then double-click ‘Colours & Themes’ you can try tabs…
    • Colours: type VERY SLOWLY REVONEnter and you will find 'Revontuli for KDE Plasma.

Given your typing skills, I would suggest you employ a third party to double check your entry of the text ‘revon’ before you hit the Enter key.

Alternatively, as you say on ‘THE WEBSITE’ - though you don’t say what website, it would have been better to say ‘on Pling’ or whatever website - the search function seems broken… but in a search engine I found this:

This is better described as a ‘colour scheme’ than a ‘theme’… you confuse us…

And here again, it works perfectly as long as you installed the helper program ocs-url.

To get that, if you don’t have it, you can do this:

pamac install ocs-url
