Replace the icon of kteatime in the Desktop's panel

HI, I installed kteatime (countdown timer application), works nicely, but I’d like to change its icon as appear in the Xfce’s panel, to fit the appearance of other icons:

kteatime-icon

I already replaced its icon in the folders:
/usr/share/icons/Flat-Remix-Yellow-Dark/apps/scalable/kteatime.svg /usr/share/icons/Flat-Remix-Yellow-Dark/categories/scalable/kteatime.svg
Followed by sudo gtk-update-icon-cache /usr/share/icons/Flat-Remix-Yellow-Dark/ as well logout/login.
But such icon doesn’t change; maybe is embedded in the executable?

Hi D.Dave!

After replacing this file

with the new one, close kteatime so that its icon is not displayed in the notification area of the panel and delete the file ~/.cache/icon-cache.kcache (or rename it).
After doing so, your new icon should be shown in the panel. The file icon-cache.kcache will be created again after you delete/rename it and launch kteatime.

Usually no logout/login is needed after this action.
