HI, I installed kteatime (countdown timer application), works nicely, but I’d like to change its icon as appear in the Xfce’s panel, to fit the appearance of other icons:
I already replaced its icon in the folders: /usr/share/icons/Flat-Remix-Yellow-Dark/apps/scalable/kteatime.svg /usr/share/icons/Flat-Remix-Yellow-Dark/categories/scalable/kteatime.svg
Followed by sudo gtk-update-icon-cache /usr/share/icons/Flat-Remix-Yellow-Dark/ as well logout/login.
But such icon doesn’t change; maybe is embedded in the executable?
with the new one, close kteatime so that its icon is not displayed in the notification area of the panel and delete the file ~/.cache/icon-cache.kcache (or rename it).
After doing so, your new icon should be shown in the panel. The file icon-cache.kcache will be created again after you delete/rename it and launch kteatime.
Usually no logout/login is needed after this action.
