Removing python2-dbus breaks dependency 'python2-dbus' required by key-mon

Apparently there was another update now or at least a ton of packages were updated. Now the package “key-mon” is broken:

:: dbus-python and python2-dbus are in conflict. Remove python2-dbus? [y/N] y
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: removing python2-dbus breaks dependency 'python2-dbus' required by key-mon

And when I try to install it again:

-> Could not find all required packages:
        python2-dbus (Wanted by: key-mon)

Seems like that Python package change was done without checking the programs that depend on it. Is this a packaging bug? If yes, how do I report that? Or is that considered a bug in key-mon itself?

Key-mon is an AUR package, it would be best to report it there. Though it hasn’t been updated since 2016.
