I am using manjaro settings manager to remove nvidia drivers but it fails with

Is it save for me to remove linux66-nvidia using pacman?

I’d recommend using mhwd CLI. It’s what I’d have done.
The wiki gives a good explanation:
TL;DR
sudo mhwd -r pci video-nvidia
Note:
Be sure to have some kind of backup driver installed, else you won’t have a GUI, only a text-based interface.

I manually removed linux66-nvidia then ran mhwd -r pci video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime and rebooted and its working.
All this is because after the recent upgrade suspend / restore broke and some apps like teams have screen tear. I wanted to remove nvidia to see if its that.
suspend / restore is working again, however teams still has screen tear.
