Again, I recommend you just leave it installed. You have apparently disabled it, so you need do nothing more.

It’s quite obvious really. If you remove packages without checking what else depends on them, you have indeed “broken the chain” and therefore can not expect other packages which depend on (components of) said packages to continue to work, so don’t expect good results. Especially without knowing beforehand what they are actually used for.
