Removable Devices in system tray automounts my sd card after I safely remove

Hi all,

I am getting a strange issue,

when I select the Removable Device and “Safely Remove” and my removable devices is set to On Attach the sd card automounts.

HOWEVER, if I disable it and then remove the sdcard and put in a new sd card I have to restart the laptop in order for it to detect.

System settings → Removable Storage → Removable Devices

yes I know that that’s how I disable the “On Attach” I want to be able to have that enable and NOT have the sd card remount immediately.
