Are you sure this is a pacman (and not pamac) output?

Please post the command used as well.

You can try refreshing your mirror list:

sudo pacman-mirrors -f && sudo pacman -Syyu

Sorry, pamac gui. Updated the tag.

I refreshed the mirrorlist from the gui, but ran this command too.
Got the same error, but I notice pacman didn’t give this error, and updating using pacman worked. So it looks like a pamac issue.

pacman doesn’t do AUR which the url clearly hints at…
Updating via pamac should work - this error should be restricted to things concerning AUR.

edit: tags adjusted

The pamac gui now states that all is good and nothing should be done. But the error still shows up in the log.

The problem isn’t the multilib repo, it is the AUR meta archive

Editing the post title

I get another error when searching if that helps

$ pamac search whatever
Failed to query https://aur.archlinux.org/rpc/?v=5&type=search&arg=whatever from AUR: TLS support is not available

Try deleting the file (packages-meta-ext-v1.json.gz ) in /var/tmp/pamac-build- your user name
and give it another try.

Noticed I didn’t have that file. Ran pamac upgrade, and it worked! So something™ probably removed that file, but I have no idea what…
