Refind cannot find mdadm raid0 root

I converted my setup of 2x 2TB nvme to a raid0. I have /boot/efi on a fat32 outside of the raid. I set up raid0 with mdadm. I have grub working now temporarily and can boot the system. However, i seem to have broken refind. It isnt the end of the world, but i had it set up nicely. Basically, it cannot detect the root on the raid0 anymore. I made sure to add mdadm_udev to the HOOKS in mkinitcpio.conf. As i said, grub works just fine… but a little sad i broke refind.

Any ideas how to fix it? I read a bit and there doesnt say anything about supporting or not supporting mdadm raid0 for root.

i figured it out with chatgpt help. /boot has to be in a separate ext4 outside of the raid0 partition. So /boot in ext4 and efi as fat32 in separate partitions. Now it works fine with the speed of raid0
