Reboot, shutdown, logout dont work after the last Manjaro update (KDE Edition)

Hello,

After the last update, the logout, shutdown and reboot buttons don’t work any more.

However, the lock, sleep and switch user buttons are working.

Any suggestions please?

You rebooted after the update?

Type systemctl reboot into Konsole. Then try the buttons after the reboot.

This helped me:

  • change global theme and login screen to Breeze and reboot with konsole → sudo reboot
  • login on tty and rm -rf ~/.cache, then login on graphical screen
  • change global theme and login screen to Breath2 and reboot
