Raspberry Pi3 stuck on first boot (HDMI-DVI)

So I've flashed manjaro arm lxqt on a sd card via etcher but I can't get it to work.
I get this error message:

fb0: switching to vc4drmfb from simple

It seems to fail because of my HDMI-DVI cable though.
Do you have any solution in mind?

Some people have issues with some hdmi-dvi adapters they have bought.

Other than that try changing /boot.config.txt to put it in dvi mode. (There will be no sound going through it):

Thanks @Darksky but that doesn't seem to work.
I did change hdmi_drive from 2 to 1 in /boot/config.txt but I still got the same issue.
Any idea?

Add this to your config.txt:

Well that doesn't do the trick either.

As I do not have that setup my only other idea is the hdmi to dvi adapter I read on the internet that some adapters does not work since forcing dvi mode and forcing the video to not detect the monitor does not work.
