Raspberry Pi Kernels (2.0)

Looks like the same patch I have been applying. It certainly was not in today’s kernel I just posted.

Yeah it is quite fresh  Minutes old. Anyway you don’t need to follow it up anymore. One less thing to worry about.

These new kernel packages pushed to unstable when the mirrors sync.

We finally have a new kernel provided by the RPI team v6.16.1.

I have spent another week in the hospital with a Congestive Heart Failure. Due to my medical condition I will be unable to supply support like I had been doing.

Sorry to her! I wish you all the best!

Holly hell man this sounds serious. I wish you all the best. Hope you get well.

I wish you the best, hope for you get better. Speedy recovery man .

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I will be 75 next month. My problems started @4 years ago with a massive heart attack. At that time I had 1 balloon surgery to keep my blood flowing until they could put in 4 stints in my other arteries to my heart. Then they diagnosed me with high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes and very bad kidney functions.

They tell me sugar caused all of this. I quit all sugar and and then over time they took me off insulin shots and I started taken insulin pills and now I am off the insulin pills. Both of my boys got the message and quit sugar all together also when I did.

Fast forward my kidney functions had deteriorated to the point that water was building up in me where I could not breathe laying down due to a weak heart pumping blood to my kidneys which landed me in the hospital.

Since my last post in the forum I just got out of the hospital again the other day and they tell me I may have a few weeks before a total kidney shutdown. I am now looking at having a dialysis port put in my stomach and will have to hook to a dialysis machine every night when I go to sleep.

So there is a lot of unknown for me at this point. I feel ok at this point but mentally I am not right to do much work like I had been doing with Manjaro and most likely the 15 pills I have to take daily is not helping. So only time will tell. Hopefully at some point I can continue back with Manjaro in some capacity as I enjoy working with Manjaro.

And here I am, eating all kinds of sweet food. I’m 40 years old and probably I should take your advice as yours sons did, reduce or quit sugar once for all. I also ingest a lot of salt and fat food as well, which means that I should follow the same advice, reducing it.

I’ve been following your work with Manjaro ARM Team, since I signed up in the Forum and it is an outstanding work. I just want to say a warm thank you! If I could, I would like to help more and more, because this kind of work inspires me to do my best every minute, despite the odds of our life.

I wish all the best to you, that you can have comfort, live long and prosper. I wish you speedy recovery.

My best intentions and regards.
