Ram is there any benefit to DDR3L?

Hi guys I am upgrading my 4GB ram modules to 8GB. Given my Asus laptop is over 12 years old, is there any benefit to DDR3L?
Thanks
I had to edit the output because the forum system would not let me post due to repetition. Therefore, I have only listed one bank of the ram 4GB, the second is identical.

A word of caution - be sure the RAM will work for your system.

The various RAM generations have different sockets and number of connectors. Only a block which match will work - even so - not all RAM are created equal.

Be sure it match your system’s specification - especially as your system is AMD based.

DDR3L = low power DDR3 with reduced supply voltage.

Thanks Keruskerfuerst, I know DDR3=1.5v DDR3L=1.35v and DDR3L is compatible with DDR3 laptops.
But has anyone had actual experience with better performance witth DDR3L?

I have a small Desktop with 8GB DDR3L.

I have no experience wheter DDR3 or DDR3L is faster.

From what I understand there is no difference other than the power consumption for same specs. If you want better performance, run higher clock RAM if the motherboard supports it. But still this will not make your laptop gain significant performance usually.

The clock frequency and the data transfer rate is vital point.
