After the most recent update, I’ve run into a small theme issue with Nextcloud. The system tray icon changed and displayed in full color. And the application theme went from dark to light. I was able to tweak the theme back somewhat using qt6ct, but it’s still not quite right. Moreover, this theme problem seems only to have occurred in my main system account. Other instances of Nextcloud in other system accounts retained pre-update theme.
If anyone has any ideas on how to rectify this, I would greatly appreciate the help.
One way of finding out why there is a discrepancy between your main account and the other accounts would be to compare the respective configuration files for nextcloud in your home directory.
I do not have nextcloud installed here, but the most likely locations would be ~/.local/share and ~/.config.
This suggests that you may need to set the theme to kvantum in qt6ct and use the Kvantum Manager to load a suitable kvantum theme.
Note: One possible cause for the discrepancy could also be that the version of nextcloud being used is not from the repository but rather a FlatPak or a Snap, or perhaps even an AppImage. These are all containerized applications and generally don’t integrate well with the underlying operating system.
Addendum: I found something that might be of interest as well…
Something else to check.
